Life in La Paz

We realize the blog hasn’t been updated as planned. We are sorry for this. I say this is Chris’ fault, of course he says it’s mine.. I call that marriage.

We have been living and working in La Paz for over 3 months now… jeezers! Where does the time go? Guess this means we’re having fun right? HECK YES!

So what have we been up to?

In the beginning of May we were so lucky to have our first visitors come through…. my sis and mom! They spent 6 days here and I must say, it was a most wonderful time. We quickly got out of the heat of the marina in La Paz and headed out to Balandra Bay for 4 fabulous days of sailing, snorkeling, mangrove adventures, beach laying, fishing and all around FUN. It’s so great I got to share my home and surroundings with my family. Martini was especially happy to have his old pack around for a bit too.

And the next day, another family visitor!!! THE Meghan! … and Boo and friends.

A lovely lunch with the lovely Megs!

And when we weren’t being visited by family, we have been busy taking our Spanish classes, working on new film projects, and living the good life here in La Paz.

And my weekly visit to my favorite organic market….

When it’s 12PM nad 100 degrees outside… sometimes the only thing to do is sit inside a cafe and do computer work!

And yes, we are still working lots… Here’s a preview from last week’s filming expedition to the island of Espiritu Santo with Ecology Project International!
